RADICAL LOVE

We like to think hair, expression, and love are one in the same. All are canvases for identity and conduits for art. All deserve to look and feel however you want them to. All are waiting for the magic of the individual to bring them to life.

Human beings should never be placed in a box, restricted, or confined. That’s why we always say: your freedom of expression deserves to be liberated. Whether that’s through who you love, how you rock your style, or what it means to be you, the freedom to define it should always be on your terms. We are the biggest rebels for that cause.

Inspired by some other amazing rebels and in honor of the Stonewall Uprisings of 1969 we decided to put our money where our celebration is this month.

Every dollar from K18hair.com on 6/28 + 6/29 will be donated to support ProjectQ, in memory of those original rebels who helped propel the gay liberation movement forward and establish Pride as we know it today.

We are so proud to support the life-changing work of ProjectQ. With the belief that hair and self-empowerment are forms of social justice, they work to provide free gender-affirming haircuts, color, and wigs to LGBTQIA+ Black and Brown Youth dealing with housing insecurities and homelessness. They also offer free self-empowering workshops, food and hygiene boxes, and career development to empower low income LGBTQIA+ Black and Brown Youth.
