How does HeatBounce work?

HeatBounce is powered by resilicore™ heat-shielding technology is a breakthrough innovation inspired by resilin—a natural protein that can withstand extreme temperatures. Unlike traditional heat protectants that only coat the cuticle, the size + molecular makeup of resilicore™ allows it to penetrate deeper than ever before*, into the cortex where heat damage can occur, forming a protective shield that fortifies from within.

How often can I reapply HeatBounce?

Apply HeatBounce every time you apply heat, including if you switch between blow drying to hot tools.

When do I use it in my routine?

First apply the PRO mist, wait 4 minutes, then shampoo and skip conditioner. Apply the PRO mask, and wait 4 minutes. This is when you apply HeatBounce and AstroLift™ before blowdrying or airdrying. If using hot tools, apply HeatBounce again. Finish with K18 oil and use AirWash™ to extend the look out of the salon, and recommend clients to use it between washes.

No. HeatBounce features a new K18 innovation—resilicore™ heat-shielding technology.
